Returning to Half Moon after our honeymoon 50 years ago was a step back in time. Walking through the lobby was quite nostalgic for both Gene and I. What a trip down memory lane. Half Moon was the perfect spot to celebrate 50 years of marriage in style!
You made our 50th Anniversary Renewal Ceremony and dinner a cherished memory of a lifetime. The ceremony was just what we had hoped for, you made our wishes come true. Thank you.
The sunset ceremony was picturesque with the draped canopy, tropical flowers, and having the Caribbean in the background was quite the setting for our renewal. We cherished renewing our vows in the setting you helped create.
Our ceremony was magical, as was our Honeymoon 50 years ago.Thank you for the magic. Gene and I appreciate your attention to detail and accommodating our every wish and need. The dinner was delightful from the setting to the renewal cake. Thank you.
Thank you also for the gifts: we love Jamaican coffee and will treasure the recipe books; the picture frame will be proudly displayed with our family photo. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness.

We cannot begin to thank you enough for the incredible job you did Saturday and everything you did leading up to the big day. You were such a joy to work with. We could not have asked for a better partner. We appreciate all your efforts in trying to keep the ceremony outside. You knew how much that meant to us. Despite the inclement weather, the ceremony turned out so beautifully! We had no idea what to expect and we were shocked when we walked into the pavilion. It was so beautifully transformed. I am tearing up thinking about it!
Thank you for being so patient and understanding and helping us plan the wedding of our dreams! You all surpassed our expectations. We could not imagine a more stunningly gorgeous event. Every single person at Half Moon gave 100% of their effort to make the event a memorable one and it showed! I really appreciate that!

I am still basking in the glow of a fabulous wedding and week at Half Moon. Andrea did a spectacular job in pulling this all together. She realized all our visions and expectations. She stepped in at a very crucial moment on the day of the ceremony when my daughter realized she forgot her underslip for her dress in NY which of course brought tears to her eyes. Unknown to her, Andrea solved the problem with a phone call which brought a beaming smile to her face.
Every bit of detail from the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went smoothly without a hitch. Andrea is to be commended for her professionalism, her insights, and her execution. I saw an article in the paper when I got back to Kingston featuring weddings at Half Moon and was delighted to see Andrea featured. I only wished I could have commented on her in that article. The florist did an amazing job in creating such a perfectly beautiful setting. We could not have asked for more and we commend her for a truly fantastic job.
We can’t say enough about our villa staff, Alwayne, Denise, and Marlene. What an amazing team. Their professionalism is to be commended. They catered not only to us but to our many guests that kept dropping in, always with a smile, providing drinks and food for the multitude without ever complaining. Half Moon is fortunate to have them ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guest. I would also like to thank your nursing staff for accommodating us and assisting us in taking care of the few injuries that we experienced.
Finally, thank you for being so personally involved in Ashley and Ralph’s marriage at Half Moon. Meeting with us to alleviate our concerns about the construction and always ensuring that everything went well and making sure that we were comfortable and satisfied. Half Moon now holds a very special place in our hearts and you have ensured our many returns to Half Moon and I am sure I speak for the newlyweds, Ashley and Ralph. We intend to return to Half Moon after the completion of the construction so we can appreciate the beauty of the new and improved Half Moon.

Our wedding was indeed beautiful and glamorous. It was the day I had always dreamed of! The flowers, decorations, and lighting were stunningly gorgeous and to this day we still get compliments on it.
