ADA Compliance
Half Moon Resort welcomes guests that are in need of special accessibility both in the public areas as well as guest accommodations utilizing the standards set forth by the Americans with Disability Act.
We encourage guests to contact us in advance of their visit to ensure we allocate the most suitable accommodations for them to thoroughly enjoy their stay with us. Please contact us at 800.626.0592 or [email protected].
Entrance: We have two main entrances, Eclipse and Founder’s Cove. Both entrances have ADA compliant ramps to the Front Desk and Concierge desks.
Front Desks: The Front Desk areas at both Eclipse and Founder’s Cove allow for seated check in with a receptionist.
Resort Transportation: Half Moon offers three areas of accommodations – Founder’s Cove, Rose Hall Villas and Eclipse. We provide transportation via golf carts to escort guests throughout the two-mile property.
Eclipse Elevator: Guests will use the elevator located in the Eclipse reception area to access the second floor of the Great House and one of our seven (7) ADA compliant rooms.
Restaurants: All restaurants on property allow accessibility to guests in need.
Restrooms: All public restrooms throughout property have wheelchair accessible stalls and vanities with adequate space below for a wheelchair to access sinks.
Beach: We have a beach wheelchair to allow guests access to most parts of the two mile beach coastline.
Spa: Locker room facilities are equipped with Toilets and Roll-in Showers with grab bars.
Guest Rooms: We offer a total of seven (7) ADA compliant guest rooms including five (5) King bedded and two (2) Double bedded rooms, located in each neighborhood for guests to choose. Half Moon features three neighborhoods: Founder's Cove at Half Moon, Eclipse at Half Moon and Rose Hall Villas at Half Moon.
Each guest room is equipped with the following:
- Roll-in Shower with Shower Stools
- Raised Toilet Seats
- Roll-up Vanity
- Wide Guest Room Closets
- Option for Lower Hanging Rail in Closet
- Push Switches for Table Lamps
- Floor Push Switches for Standing Lamps
- Lowered Thermostat

In our effort to provide a fully accessible and optimized user experience for all site visitors, Half Moon has taken careful measure to ensure an excellent user experience, regardless of the assistive technology being used to access this site or the specific abilities of those individuals seeking access to this site.
